Chromium cake is a byproduct from chrome tanned leather production. The chrome shavings are processed by alkaline enzymatic hydrolysis into collagen hydrolysate and chromium cake. The pieces are around 150 x 150 x 25 mm (L x W x H) and weigh around 300 grams each.
