Carpet test samples in various shapes (round, square, and rectangular) and materials (velour, loop pile, nonwoven) are utilized for assessing different carpets for wear and tear, as well as quality. These samples have a thickness of approximately 2cm.

The backing of the carpet varies, featuring either a latex coating or extrusion plastics.
Approximately 50 samples of each shape are available per month.
