Each month, approximately 250 kg of synthetic textile offcuts are generated, totaling around 3 tonnes per year. These offcuts come in a range of sizes, from small 10×10 cm pieces to larger sections of up to 3 meters in length. Currently, these materials are incinerated, but they hold potential for sustainable reuse in projects such as upholstery, eco-friendly fashion, and creative designs, helping reduce waste and carbon emissions.
In addition to the offcuts, the manufacturer also has many leftover textile rolls.
